# Fastmail

Connect Fastmail under Accounts → Connect an account → Fastmail. Prubex uses a Fastmail API token for mail (make one in Fastmail with Mail and Email submission access, read and write) and, optionally, an app password for your calendars.

## How Fastmail maps
Fastmail mailboxes are folders and keywords are labels (single lower-case words). Moving mail to Trash is recoverable; Prubex never destroys a message. Editing a draft saves a new one in its place.

## Calendars
With the app password, calendars come over CalDAV. Answering an invitation sets your answer and Fastmail sends the reply; a comment cannot be carried that way. Free/busy is worked out from your own calendars.

## Disconnecting
Disconnecting deletes Prubex’s copy of the token and the app password. Fastmail has no way for an app to revoke its own token, so delete both in Fastmail’s settings too.
