# Getting started

Prubex gives an AI agent the email and calendar accounts a person connected, through one MCP server and REST API, with that person's rules applied to every call.

## Connect an agent
The MCP server is at https://mcp.prubex.com/mcp (also https://prubex.com/mcp). Create an API key under Agents & keys and send it as `Authorization: Bearer pbx_live_…`. A key has scopes, an account scope and an approval setting.

## First call
Call `prubex_overview` first. It returns the current time and time zone, the key's scopes, whether sends need approval, the accounts the key can reach by provider and any that need reconnecting.

## Finding tools
Everyday tools are in tools/list. Others (drafts, labels, folders, profiles, policies, the agenda) are found with `search_tools` and run with `call_tool`.
