Connect ChatGPT to Prubex

Add Prubex to ChatGPT as a connector. ChatGPT signs in through Prubex, and gets two extra tools, search and fetch, that deep research uses to read across your mail and calendars.

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps and connectors. If adding your own needs it, turn on developer mode under Advanced settings.

  2. Create a connector named Prubex with this URL and OAuth sign-in:

    https://mcp.prubex.com/mcp

  3. ChatGPT opens Prubex: sign in, choose a preset and accounts, then Allow. Prubex shows ChatGPT as verified when it signs in with its published identity.

  4. Use it in a chat, or in deep research: “Find every invoice from Contoso this quarter and summarise them.”

Good to know

  • If ChatGPT asks for a client id, enter prubex-chatgpt, with no secret.
  • ChatGPT asks before a tool that changes something (Allow once, Always allow or Deny); reads run without asking. With the Assistant preset every send also waits for your approval in Prubex.
