Yahoo Mail MCP server
To connect Yahoo Mail to an AI agent, create an app password in Yahoo’s Account Security page and paste it into Prubex with your Yahoo address. Your agent then searches, reads, files and drafts Yahoo mail through Prubex, and sends wait for your approval.
Connect Yahoo Mail in 4 steps
- Open Account Security at login.yahoo.com/account/security (not in a private window).
- Under External connections, choose Create app password, name it Prubex and copy it.
- In Prubex, choose Connect an account, then Yahoo, and paste your address and the password.
- Add Prubex to your agent: in Claude or ChatGPT as a connector (you approve it in Prubex), or with an API key for Cursor, VS Code and other clients.

Is an app password safe to give Prubex?
It opens only mail and calendar, not your Yahoo account settings, and you can delete it in Account Security at any time. Prubex keeps it encrypted.
Do I need Yahoo Mail Plus?
No. App passwords work with free Yahoo accounts.
Can I connect AOL too?
Yes. AOL Mail connects the same way, with an app password from AOL’s account security page.
