Pricing questions
What counts as an account?
One connected mailbox identity: its mail and calendar together count once. A calendar (ICS) link counts as one account. The Demo mailbox is free, and disconnected accounts stop counting.
How does graduated pricing work?
Each price applies only to the accounts inside its range. With 12 accounts, the first 2 are free, the next 8 are at the 3–10 price and the last 2 at the 11–100 price.
Do paused accounts count?
Yes. A paused account, or one that needs reconnecting, still counts until you disconnect it.
What changes when I pay?
You can connect more than two accounts, agents may make 600 requests a minute instead of 60, and the audit log keeps 90 days of detail instead of 30.
Who handles payment and tax?
Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle takes the payment, works out any tax and sends your invoices.
Can I start without a card?
Yes. Two accounts are free for as long as you like, with no card. You subscribe only when you connect a third.
Questions about Prubex
What is an MCP server?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI apps use to call tools. Prubex is one MCP server: add it to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client and your agent can work with every email and calendar account you connect.
Which accounts can I connect?
Microsoft 365 and Outlook.com, Gmail and Google Calendar, Zoho Mail, Fastmail, iCloud, Yahoo, AOL, GMX, any IMAP server, CalDAV calendars and calendar (ICS) links. Gmail and Google Calendar are in early access until Google verifies Prubex, so places are limited.
Do you store my email?
No. Prubex passes your mail and events through to your agent and keeps no copies of message bodies or attachments. The exceptions are short-lived: a message waiting for your approval (purged 7 days after it is decided or expires) and files you upload for an agent to attach (deleted after 24 hours, or with a send held for approval: 9 days at most).
Can an agent delete my mail?
No. Prubex has no permanent-delete tool for mail, mail folders or calendars. An agent can move a message to the trash if you allow it, and you can turn that off per account. Single calendar events can be deleted as in your calendar app, and changes involving other people follow your approval rules.
Which agents work with Prubex?
Claude (claude.ai, the desktop app and Claude Code), ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and n8n have setup guides. Anything that speaks MCP or plain HTTPS can use it too, through the REST API.
Refunds
Payments are non-refundable, except where you have a statutory right to withdraw, as Paddle’s Refund Policy provides; Paddle applies those rights as merchant of record. Billing errors and outage-related charges are still credited on request to hello@prubex.com.
