Zoho Mail and Calendar

Connect a Zoho account under Accounts → Connect an account → Sign in with Zoho. Zoho asks you to allow reading, organising and sending mail (never a permanent delete), and reading and writing your calendars and free/busy time.

Data centres

Zoho keeps each account in one data centre (US, EU, India, Australia, Japan, Canada, Saudi Arabia, the UK and others). Zoho tells Prubex which one when you sign in, and every call for the account goes there.

How Zoho maps

Zoho folders are folders and Zoho tags are labels. Moving mail to Trash is recoverable; Prubex never deletes permanently. Zoho cannot edit or send a saved draft, so editing a draft saves a new one in its place and sending it sends its content anew. Forwards are composed by Prubex with the original’s text and files, within the account’s limit.

What Zoho cannot do

Zoho Calendar offers no way to answer an invitation through its API, so calendar_respond_to_event answers PROVIDER_UNSUPPORTED for Zoho accounts; it has no online-meeting links either, so an event asked to have one is created without it, with a warning. Zoho reports new and removed mail but not flag changes, so mail_list_changes lists new and removed messages only.

Disconnecting and reconnecting

Disconnecting deletes the stored sign-in and withdraws Prubex at Zoho, so it leaves your Zoho account’s connected apps. Zoho keeps a limited number of sign-ins per app, so reconnecting withdraws the one it replaces.
